Ergonomic & Manual Handling Risk Assessment

Workscreen Ergonomic & manual handling risk assessments are tailored to meet the needs of your business. Pro-active risk assessments consider the relationship between the worker and their duties, practices, work systems and the working environment.  The purpose of these assessments is to:

Develop a risk matrix to prioritise risk control

Maximise Productivity

Prevent Injuries

Reduce worker’s compensation claims

Improve comfort, satisfaction, productivity and wellbeing

Comply with OSH legislation

A detailed workplace risk assessment, undertaken by industry experienced physiotherapists is the most effective way to assess tasks that contain higher than acceptable ergonomic or manual handling risk.  The assessment will identify the hazards in the workplace, task, system or process and quantify the ergonomic risk associated with each component.  The quantification of risk assists in the identification of the most significant risks to allow optimal utilisation of resources.  This allocation of resources to significant/critical risks meets the legislative requirements of risk identification, assessment and prioritisation.

All Workscreen ergonomic and manual handling risk assessment reports include detailed task descriptors, photographs, frequencies based on DOT classification and risk ratings based on ergonomic industry standard classifications (ManTRA, QEC, Quantitative Risk Matrix, etc.)  They come in an easy to read report with proposed cost-effective solutions agreed in consultation with staff and management in order to achieve the best possible outcomes.
